Performance description installation service

  1. Standard performance
    Within the scope of the existing technical and operational possibilities the installation service provides fixed installation and assembly services in connection with the ordering of an internet connection of skyDSL Deutschland GmbH (hereinafter referred to as skyDSL).
    The installation service provides the following services:

        1. Installation service (standard)
              1. Working on site
    • Travelling to the customer
        2. Assembly
    • Assembly of the supplied satellite antenna to the internet connection (including LNB and, if applicable, BUC or TRIA)
    • Arrangement with the customer about a suitable location for the assembly
    • Hang and attach the assembled satellite antenna to a wall in max. 2m height
    • 10m antenna cable visible (not fixed, not laid in hollow walls or cable ducts etc.)
        3. Orientation
    • Orientation of the satellite antenna to a satellite suitable for the ordered internet connection (if necessary with the aid of a measuring device)
        4. Configuration
    • Connect satellite antenna and satellite modem
    • Configuration and commissioning of the internet connection with the help of the accompanying hardware
        5. Delivery
    • Carry out a function check with the help of the accompanying hardware
  2. Cooperation duties of the customer

            1. Location of installation
            On the agreed date the customer has free access to the agreed installation location, provided that no installation location can be agreed in advance to create the desired installation location by the customer. In this case the customer must take into account the sky direction of the satellite antenna signaled by skyDSL.
            2. Appointment of installation
            If the installation service cannot be carried out at the agreed date and the customer is at fault, then the customer has to pay a cost-of-charge of 49€. If the customer notifies the installation service at least 3 days before the agreed date that the appointment cannot take place, the expense is reduced to 29€. In the case of notification of at least 14 days before the agreed appointment of installation, the customer is not charged any costs.

            If, at the customer’s request and with the consent of the installation service, the waiting time stretches until the installation is carried out, this shall be regarded as working hours.

            Should the installation be interrupted and the fault is not caused by the installation service, the installation service will offer the due services on a second date. In addition to the agreed costs the customer bears only the additional costs of the journey.

        1. Additional works
        If, with the approval of the installation service, further work differing from the installation service (standard) has been agreed, the customer has to perform the required preliminary work in due time before the installation date.
  3. Additional services
    The installation service provides at the time in particular the following additional services, by prior agreement and within the framework of the existing technical and operational possibilities, only in direct temporal connection with this installation service (standard) for a separate fee, which is based on the price list applicable upon order placement:

    1. Assembly
    • Manufacturing of wall perforations
    • Assembly and installation of an antenna cable with individual cable length
    2. Configuration
    • Set up, configure and test the internet connection on the customer PC
    • Installation and set up of additional software
    • Connection of further PCs via existing LAN, W-LAN or Power-Line-Router
    • Instructions in the operation of the internet connection
  4. Costs and billing
    The invoicing and settlement of the standard or additional services is made by the installation service to the customer.

    • Per installed internet connection: Applies the amount shown on the website at the time of the order
        2. Additional services
              1. Working hours
    • Applies the amount shown on the website at the time of the order
